Giampiero Quartararo

HEAD CHEF

Born in Palermo - Sicily, Giampiero started cooking from a very young age. His mother and grandmother infused him with a “passion for the kitchen”.

In 2013, he graduated from the prestigious Alma International School of Italian Cuisine and started his apprenticeship at the Michelin Star restaurant -
Ca’ Vittoria in Piedmont region. He then worked his way up to the position of sous chef at Ristorante La Dacia in the province of Verona - near the wonderful Lake Garda.

Ready for a new challenge, Giampiero eagerly embraced the opportunity to collaborate with Andrea Risi and his wife Boom on this culinary adventure.

“I was born in the middle of the Mediterranean sea in Sicily- a region rich with influences from Spain, France and North Africa. I love combining my heritage with the fresh ingredients I find in local markets to create unique dishes … but always with the Mediterranean in mind!”
